Your doctor and the: Methadone program need to know about each other, and if not, make sure they do right away. Zoloft (sertraline), (sertraline) like all SSRIs, has the potential to be sedating, plus it can (although usually in higher doses) reduce metabolism of Methadone so that the blood levels go higher.
