My ringworm's won't permanently leave. even applying creams, it will leave, but then come back. why does it do this and what can i do?

It can take weeks to: Months of daily treatment to eradicate..Even though the skin may look normal,keep using your daily treatment for at least 2 more weeks.If it recurs,see a dermatologist or your PCP.

Fungal infections: Fungal infections often recur when treatment is not continued long enough. Often people stop using their medications when the symptoms disappear visibly, but the fungus is still present on your skin. Topical antifungals should be used for a minimum of 10-14 days. Occassionally, 6 week courses or oral antifungals are required to clear infections, especially in scalp or nails.

Resistance: The cream you are using may not be effective or you are still being exposed to the origin of the ring worm. Make sure your friends or partner do not have similar lesions, take a shower immediately after exercise. You may need to have your doctor take a look as it may not be ringworm
