Mucocele: Yes, definitely. The description and location are very similar for mucocele lesion. Diagnosis is made by examination and history of the previous trauma. Most common treatment is surgical. Good luck.

Mucocele: Also called a Ranula. Your description sounds classic, but an examination is required to formalize the diagnosis. Treatment may be palliative, limited surgery, or laser. See your Dentist for evaluation,treatment, or referral.
