Many possibilities: Several possible causes of bumps on the lips - anything from a skin reaction to one of the ingredients, or possibly a cold sore developing where the lipstick was applied. If no prior history of cold sores, it's possible to contract cold sores (blisters) from contact with other lips via a lipstick container.
