Squeezing lumps: Mothers and physicians are notorious for repeatedly reminding humans not to squeeze their lesions. This leads to damage of the skin, scarring and in many cases less than desired outcomes. A lump is usually a reaction to something. It does not sound like you are describing oral herpes. The pinpoint is the hole you made when you squeezed this lesion. Hopefully it will all heal well.
