A member asked:

Please tell what can i eat as a vegetarian to make up for my daily iron requirement?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Greens: Green leafy vegetables such as spin inch and broccoli and Kale are rich in iron and also low in calorie Raisins are rich in iron , but high in carb . Starches can bind your iron , so try to avoid them if possible . Be sure to eat beans as a source of protein . Take a good food supplement to help get iron . Notice I did not say Vitamin . Go to the health food store for that . Good luck .
