Which is preffered for glaucoma testing--puff-air or applanation tonometry?

The latter: Goldmann applanation tonometry is the gold standard. Non-contact tonometry (nct) is often used when contact methods are not indicated and is inherently less accurate due lid interference, poor alignment of the eye or dryness.
