I agree: I agree with U and so does the American Heart Association. Unless you have diabetes and smoke, few people would advise medications for a chol of 241 in a 23 yo. BUT, do you disagree that it would be healthier if your chol was 160? - Many studies show a correlation. It's only 1 of many risk factors. Important, but not the only important factor. I would advise a prudent diet (healthy on all counts).
