L&D evaluation : 36 weeks is preterm and at 3 cm dilated, you're at risk for early delivery. A 36 week infant should do well as long as no infection exists. You are probably in early labor, go to L&D for eval, see if you benefit from antibiotics (GBS status needed), and have good pediatric care at delivery in case your infant needs immediate care. Trust your OB & best of luck to you. (No induction recommended).
