taking something"?: I would suggest careful follow up with your PCP or GI specialist. I think it would be prudent to use OTC Nexium or Prilosec/Zegerid ( proton pump inhibitors) to reduce acid production. You did not specify what you are taking, nor if you have had an upper endoscopy.
