BPH Tx : There are several papers which have outlined the safety and effectiveness of combining a medicine like tolteridine (Detrol) with a med like tamsulosin (Flomax). However, in a 45 y/o male I would be more inclined to recommend prostate surgery instead of adding more medication, as there may be a greater long term benefit and you may end up taking fewer meds instead if more meds!
