Anovulatory bleeding: If you have PCOS, you are probably not ovulating, so your periods are not true periods, but just breakdown of some of the lining there. They can be light or heavy, usually irregular, although sometimes they may seem regular. If you are not wanting pregnancy one, the birth control pill would be the best way to regulate your cycles and ensure you are completely sloughing the lining every month.
