Need more info: You need to know your free T3, (liothyronine)T3 and antithyroid antibodies results: You need to know the normal range of your TSH from your lab

Depends: Most old reference ranges allow TSH upper limits up to 5.0. neew guidelines say thee upper limit should be no higher than 2.5. o by the new norms your TSH level would be considered abnormal , and medication adjustment may be needed. i personally use the old norms still, so i would not change anything at this point.
