V. minor cancer risk: The cancer risk from an additional CT is quite low when compared to the lifetime risk of getting cancer from all causes. But, the most widely accepted model for cancer risk from ionizing radiation (as from CTs) assumes that each study incrementally adds additional risk. For younger people the risk is increased, I would talk to your doctor to make sure that the additional CT is really necessary,
