A member asked:

How typical is cancer in ages 14-16?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rare: most common malignancies do not appear at that age group. Tumors such as osteosarcoma and chondrosarcoma are seen as well as testicular tumors. Leukemia is also noted in young individuals.. Under certain circomstances congenital tumors can appear such as lesions of bowel but again for the most part malignancies are rare.
