Pretty uncommon: Esophageal cancer is not a big concern for anyone without symptoms or risk factors under the age of 40. The incidence for all ages is about 5/100, 000. Most of that risk occurs in those who are older. Less than 15% of esophageal ca is in those < 55 years of age.

Less risk: Risk of esophageal cancer at age 40 or below the age of 40 are very low. The risk is 10 cases per 100, 000 people. Thanks.
