Valid question: My advise: see a specialist in cancer genetics and risk assessment. He/she will take a full family and personal history, decide which (if any) gene tests to order, and give you and your family recommendations on how to reduce the risk as much as possible. It will not protect you or your children completely against cancer, but nothing can do that, my friend. Hope y'all do well.
