Yes and no: Really depends on how fast you recovered. 49 year olds who recover quickly from a delirious episode usually do well. Longer, scrappy episodes are a bit more concerning. Also depends whether this was a sedative withdrawal delirium ("expected") or acute brain failure delirium. Different pathogenesis for these two creatures unfortunately named identically as the DSM-5 crew is "extra-mature".
