Dysgeusia: is a change in your sense of taste and a metallic taste due to a variety of causes; from anxiety to dental problems to medications and treatments. Dysgeusia is not very common. Severe long-standing dysgeusia can be very significant as it may lead to patient losing interest in food. See your PCP for consultation, tests and referral if needed.
