Back pain: Hi, What about your back pain makes you scared? Low back pain is very common. Most cases of low pain respond to treatment like stretching and strengthening exercises, anti-inflammatories like Aleve (naproxen) or ibuprefen, and other conservative treatment. If you have weakness, numbness or tingling in your arms or legs, then you should make sure to tell your doctor.
