Go see your doctor: Zocor (simvastatin) & other statins are not associated w/chronic cough, at least not to same extent as ACE inhibitors, which are used to lower blood pressure and protect heart & kidneys. Statins are more commonly linked to unexplained muscle pain/weakness. Regardless, if you suspect that you're suffering from side effect, go see prescribing doc.
