Ovarian cyst rupture: The likely cause is rupture of a normal ovarian physiologic cyst. The other etiology is ovarian torsion, endometriosis, PID or UTI and cystitis and rarely sacrocoxygeal area bone abnormalities if associated trauma. Just monitor and pain should go away. If pain persisted or developed other associated symptoms like fever or worsening pain or low BP call PCP or check in ER.
