Pelvic Pain: Abdominal pain in the inguinal region (low anterior pelvis) in females can be due to inflammation related to ovulation, usually 12-14 days from the last period. In males, discomfort can be due to an abdominal wall defect or inguinal hernia but is usually associated with a tender lump or pain on straining. Hip pain can also be referred to this area in both men and women. Get examined if concern.
