Histrionic: Personality disorder is a condition in which people act in overly emotional and dramatic ways that draws attention to themselves. Individuals are easily influenced by others, overly sensitive to criticism or disapproval, blame failure on others, charming, energetic, easily frustrated, manipulative, erratic, and demanding. Medication may help the symptoms, but talk therapy is the best treatment.

Histrionic: The hallmark of a histrionic is that the person has to be at the center of attention at all times. It's like watching an actor who is always playing a role "on stage" and very uncomfortable with NOT being the center of attention.

Go for therapy : This is something that can be modified with persistent and consistent effort on your part. Now that you know what is going on, why did this start and how can you respond differently? Discussing this with a trusted professional doctor/psychologist will help start to figure out what to do/say in certain situations that stress you. Good luck.

Histrionic PD: manifests in high dramatic reactions to even minor life issues. Psychotherapy can be helpful as can be the work of Dan Goleman on Emotional Intelligence. Peace and good health.
