VUR: Your baby needs to be followed by a pediatric urologist. The daily antibiotics help prevent UTIs that these children are prone to, but do nothing for the VUR. Often VUR may improve as baby gets older. If not, they have surgery that fixes it. The urologist will follow the progress of the VUR.
