Maybe: Complete resolution of fungal toe nail infections is very difficult. There certainly is no treatment that is 100% guaranteed. Topical treatments are less effective than oral medications. The most promising new approach that has been cleared by the fda is the laser. Complete surgical removal of a very deformed, painful nail is another option.
