Tsh=0.4 uiu/ml,t3=1.2,t4=7.2,can triiodothyronine be used for treatment-resistant depression?

Treatment: thyroid hormone is a well researched option for augmenting antidepressant response in the treatment of depression. Caution needs to be given regarding over supplementing with thyroid hormone.

Yes: Whether one has thyroid disease or not, triiodothyronine (or Cytomel) may be used to augment treatment of depression. If medications are ineffective, I would consider ECT (electroconvulsive therapy), TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation), both of which have good data to support their use... or Chronotherapy which has little data but and be rapid acting w/o side effects.
