AS long as it is not: too tight, allows motion when permitted, and is the right treatment for the issue then sure tape is tape. Personally, I like to use coban and then tape over the coban. I also often recommend padding in the small web between the fingers to avoid maceration or wear. Hygiene is very important as a dirty web space will not only smell bad but the skin can get irritated.
