See your Doctor: While antibiotics will treat the infection, provided it is bacterial and not viral, they will not directly treat the inflammation that causes many of the symptoms, so it can take weeks to fully recover. You can also take ibuprofen/naproxen for inflammation. However, if your symptoms are worsening, see your doctor asap to make sure your pneumonia is not persisting or worsening.
