A member asked:

I have a relatively hard lump on the inside of my right leg on the calf muscle. what could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hard lump: Limited information makes this question difficult. If lump is small and near surface it could be phlebolith which is hardened or calcified vein. If deeper in muscle could be cyst or muscle mass. If you have history of injury then it could be an area of localized muscle spasm or tearing. If this persists you should seek a full examination.
