Hard to answer: Since there are literally tens of thousands of prescription medicines on the market, it is hard to come up with one or two. In general, prescriptions that take the longest to get out are ones with long half lives, which in turn are dosed less frequently. Most medications are dosed daily, but some weekly, monthly, or even yearly. The latter category includes some osteoporosis drugs Actonel, (risedronate) etc.
