Colon? Bladder?: Could be a colon or bladder problem, such as infection, kidney stone, constipation etc. you will need to be checked by a doctor to see what the problem is. Good luck!

Depends: Stabbing pain is unlikely related to a Hysterectomy from long ago. Think Kidney stone - especially if the pain doubles you over. Think bowel if it comes and goes with your diet and bowel movements. You need an examination and blood/urine test to sort it out.
