All the same: Basil is basil. And as for the "healing effects, " there basically are none. Basil is said to "aid digestion, " but it's not the basil, it's the food you season it with (tomatoes). Some say it is an "elixir of love and a charm, " others claim it can be used for "for snakebites, chills, coughs, earaches, spasms, and skin problems." i could go on, but none of these are true. It tastes good though!
