A member asked:

I had sex w/ my gf & found out shes a genital warts carrier. she tested neg for it, but her dr said she could be a carrier even though shes never had an outbreak. do i have it? what should i do?

Not sure: Not sure how you know she is a carrier even though she tested negative. If she has genital warts, visibly, then she has them. She could also have HPV cervically and not have genital warts--they are different strains of the same virus. The cervical HPV strains do not cause genital warts in men. But if she has warts, those can be sexually transmitted and you could get warts as well.
