What does it mean that my chg fef2575=22% on my pulmonary function test?

Possible obstruction: This particular test can detect a very early obstruction to the airflow (seen in diseases such as asthma/emphysema etc...) However there are people with abnormal FEF 25-75 with minimal respiratory symptoms.

Albuterol resp: The change in the value of the FEF 25 -75 of 22% may indicate an improvement with a bronchodilator, if you were given albuterol during the testing. If the 22% is the percent predicted value, then this indicates airflow obstruction in the smallest airways.
