A member asked:

I'm 39 weeks and 2 days pregnant (with my first). i'm not dilated. how quickly can dilation occur, or am i in for a wait?

Prinagravida: First time tends to go slower. Labor takes as long as it takes. Ob needs to see you every week, or more often depending in your progress. . Your OB is the one to answer your questions.
