A member asked:

Increased fatigue , and frequent urination is this all because of smoking , can i reduce the harmfull effects of smoking .

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fatigue yes,: urination I don't think so . Smoking increases the carbon monoxide in red blood cells, which means they cannot carry oxygen at the same time. It also constricts blood vessels to vital organs, including muscle. Over time, it causes damage to the lungs to where they cannot take in adequate oxygen. Exercise has some effects in reducing smoking's harm, but the only way to stop it is to stop smoking.
