Steroid induced.: Although you should repeat the glucose , the most likely cause of the glucose elevation is the steroid use, "prednisolone". It occurs often during use and should return to baseline after discontinuation. Repeat your level 1-2 weeks after stopping the medication and if it remains elevated consult your primary physician.
