Vitamin E: Historically, vitamin E oil has been used by plastic surgeons to minimize the effects of scarring. I'm not aware of any use of vitamin C to reduce scar. Other ways to reduce a scar include aloe vera, as well as topical Neosporin or Mederma. The Neosporin is very economical. Mederma is more costly.
