Breast cancer: It will need to be treated in order to save your life. The information about the appearance are to help the physicians determine exactly how best to treat it, and there will be some more studies done. I'm sorry this is breast cancer, but today the large majority of these tumors are cured.

Grade 2: There are 2 basic forms of breast cancer, ductal and lobular. Yours tumor is a ductal but it sounds like it has some lobular features, in particular it's infiltrating as cords sometimes called "Indian file infiltration". I don't think this has any clinical significance. See your oncologist and follow their advice. Most important is knowing lymph node status. Best of luck and God bless.
