A member asked:

What to do if i had smokers cough, can anyone help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

STOP SMOKING: comes to mind. If you are developing chronic bronchitis secondary to the smoking, the ONLY effective treatment is smoking cessation. Everything else is to try to suppress the inflammation caused by the smoking, or treat infections that are related to the inflammation, or to help keep the airways more open, but they do not stop the chronic bronchitis. Get info on smoking cessation and please!!!
