Recommendation : Please, be rational. Four - 4 months of cough in smoker definitely requires X-ray. And doctor evaluation. Please do not wait any longer. Nobody can not make a diagnosis on line.

Mgt: Reflux and aspiration is a possible cause, but other conditions such as infection should be evaluated.
