Is obedience genetic or hereditary?

Obedience : This is an interesting question. It's confused by statements, like: "Something that is hereditary “can” be transmitted genetically from one generation to another." What might be more important to discuss is whether obedience can be taught, and learned, or if it might be something neither taught nor learned in the family setting. Non-obedient parents may model non-obedience for thier children.
