Is it possible that unacceptable behaviour in children such as cruelty to animals be due to genetic inheritance?

No statistical link: Most commonly, children who abuse animals have either witnessed or experienced physical abuse or sexual abuse themselves. Statistics show that 30 % of children who have witnessed domestic violence act out a similar type of violence against their pets. In fact, the link between animal abuse and interpersonal violence is well-known in US. No genetic link has been found. Professional help needed.
