My throat feels more constricted than usual. sometimes below my adam's apple and some time below my jawbone. back and forth. what could cause this?

Difficult situation: Those symptoms are somewhat nonspecific in that this could be many things. Make sure you don't have an enlarged thyroid gland or other mass in the neck compressing things. These symptoms often are related to GERD and what I call laryngopharyngeal reflux(LPR). Some people require many months of once to twice daily reflux meds to help. Another issue can be muscle tension dysphonia so see an ENT.
