Need more informati: We will need more information. What was the medrol (methylprednisolone) given and what was the horrible reaction. Medrol (methylprednisolone) is a corticosteroid and usually reactions are not allergic but physiologic. By that I mean that the medrol (methylprednisolone) injections given to your body gives a large increase over your normal level of corticosteroids. Your body manufactures corticosteroids but these levels are much higher which you feel.
