What are the results of arm posture on blood pressure and pulse rate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Heart level: When measuring an indirect BP (using a cuff), the arm should be supported at heart level for best accuracy. If muscular action is used to raise the arm, the isometric activity will increase BP and HR.
