Parenting: That's complicated. Unfortunately, some parents don't even realize they are teaching bad habits, either because of their ignorance, or they don't realize the child is imitating them. It also depends on what you mean by bad habits. Swearing? Telling lies? Hitting? Children will hopefully get some other feedback on these habits; like in school or their peers, and be able to change their behavior.
