1-2 days: You should start to feel better from the intramuscular penicillin shot they probably gave you (that's what the shot in the butt usually is) in 1-2 days assuming you have something that it treats. If your infection is actually viral or due to a bacteria other than group A strep, it will not respond to the antibiotics. In that case you should follow up with your doctor.

Ive been in contact with an individual who tested positive for COVID 2 July. Last interaction with the individual was 21 June. He flew out to WC 22 July, Its been over 14days I only exhibit swollen tonsillitis and slight light headedness
