Moderate lower/mid back pain about 1 month. i have been limping due to knee injury for 5 months. is this the cause/ what can be done to alleviate pain?

Cannot say: without directly examining. Pain makes for easy answers on examination if a spot is tender on poking it, that's the cause! Limping tends to jar back and produce muscle irritation and spasm. Aspirin like drugs, warmth, rest, massage are some of many many treatments.
